It is with our most utmost regret that we must inform you that we are cancelling this 2021 event.
Unfortunately due to permitting issues we will not be able to host this race as scheduled. Every registered runner will receive an email with more information.

35k -  7:00pm race start (Shuttle pick up at 6pm at Beals Point)

14K - 7:00pm (Out and Back course from Beals Point)

5k - 7: 20pm (Out and back course from Beals Point)

Headlamps are required for all 3 distances!!!!

Information:

From Auburn to Granite Bay; this course follows the Nineteenth Century gold miners path along the North Fork of the American River. This path was worn in by miners in search of a good sand bar for gold panning.

The 35k race stars right off Gate 142,which is located between the Overlook Park and The Railhead Park. Shuttle to the start will be available and included in your registration cost. The race will end along the American River Bike path at Beals Point Recreation Area. The 14k and 5k are both out and back routes starting from Beals Point.

Cut off times:

The 35k event will have a total allotted time of 5:30hrs. See chart below for cutoff times along the course

All cut off times will be strict. Should the race start late for any reason, cutoff times will get pushed by however minutes late the race starts.

Packet Pick up:

Optional Packet pick up will occur at Auburn Aid Station from 1pm-6pm on October 15. All runners will receive 10% off of any regular priced item. If you cannot attend the early packet pick up, your bib and swag will be available for pick up at the start area starting at 6pm on race day.
